The Christine L. Fisher Early Childhood Education Fund was established to promote and support quality care and education of all young children, birth through age eight, in Indiana as a result of Christine L. Fisher’s lifetime passion for children.  Each year since 2013, the Christine L. Fisher Fund has awarded grants to early childhood facilities across the state to continue Christine’s legacy  to improve the literacy, nutrition, movement and art experiences for young children. In 2014, in cooperation with children’s author, Tina Powell, the Christine L. Fisher Fund and Indiana AEYC published a children’s book, Little Christine’s Big Dream.

80 attendees and bidders helped us raise over $8,500 to benefit the
Christine L. Fisher Early Childhood Education Fund.

Christine L. Fisher was an exceptional early childhood educator and leader who made the world a better place for young children, early childhood professionals who work with and on behalf of young children, and all who came in contact with her.  The world is forever better because of Christine L. Fisher and her loving, kind, graceful wisdom that she shared with young children, early childhood professionals, co-workers and others blessed by her friendship.  She was the bright light for so many and that light will continue to illuminate the world for young children!”  Dianna Wallace, Executive Director
