Paths to Quality™ Evaluation

Paths to QUALITY™ is a free resource to help parents make decisions regarding child care and to help child care programs improve the quality of care offered.

Paths to QUALITY™ is Indiana’s voluntary quality rating and improvement system for child care. This system is the first and only child care rating system in the state!

The system identifies 4 levels of quality. Beginning at Level 1 – meeting basic health and safety standards – child care programs may progress to the highest level – Level 4, achieving national accreditation. Click on the decal to the right to learn more about the 4 levels of quality.

When choosing child care, search for programs that voluntarily participate in Paths to QUALITY. These special programs demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality care for children. Paths to QUALITY eligible programs include licensed child care centers, licensed family child care homes, and unlicensed registered ministries who have met voluntary certification standards.

Better child care. Brighter futures for Indiana!

Gatchel </span>pictureI want to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the T.E.A.C.H scholarship possible.  I recently graduated with honors from Saint Mary’s of-the-Woods College with a Bachelors Degree. My degree will help me in meeting the needs of the children that are enrolled in my all day preschool. It also shows parents that by enrolling their child in my facility that their child’s educational needs are being met by a qualified teacher.  My accomplishment of graduating from college is also a testimony to others that it is never too late to go after your dreams. The financial assistance you provided allowed me to concentrate more of my time on my studies.  As a result, I received the Future Outstanding Educator award from the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.  I was also a recipient of the Kappa Gamma Pi St. Catherine Medal. Thank you T.E.A.C.H Early Childhood® INDIANA for your generosity and support!
