Tips For Conference

Tip 1: Lunch is not included at Conference so please plan accordingly.  Enjoy one of the many local restaurants.

Tip 2: Bring a sweater! The Indianapolis Convention Center is a large facility which makes getting the temperature perfect for everyone very hard. It is best to prepare for both warm and cool rooms.

Tip 3: Bring pen and paper. While handouts are available at most sessions, many participants like to take additional notes they feel will help them once back at work.

Tip 4: Network, network, network! Sometimes you learn a lot from talking to different agencies and learning how they put different techniques into practice.

Tip 5: Arrive to your sessions early as seating is limited by the State Fire Marshal.

Gatchel </span>pictureI want to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the T.E.A.C.H scholarship possible.  I recently graduated with honors from Saint Mary’s of-the-Woods College with a Bachelors Degree. My degree will help me in meeting the needs of the children that are enrolled in my all day preschool. It also shows parents that by enrolling their child in my facility that their child’s educational needs are being met by a qualified teacher.  My accomplishment of graduating from college is also a testimony to others that it is never too late to go after your dreams. The financial assistance you provided allowed me to concentrate more of my time on my studies.  As a result, I received the Future Outstanding Educator award from the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.  I was also a recipient of the Kappa Gamma Pi St. Catherine Medal. Thank you T.E.A.C.H Early Childhood® INDIANA for your generosity and support!
